STAR WARS BLACK SERIES - Qi'Ra ( Corellia ) REVIEW !!!

Coming directly from the recently released Star Wars film based on the life of Han Solo, known as Solo , is the character known as Qi'Ra. I purchased this figure of Qi'ra at a local Walmart for around the $19.99 price range .
The front of the packaging can easily confuse someone whom is not familiar with the movie or the StarWars franchise. They may think that Corellia is the figure's name when it is actually the name of the home world . Qi'ra is the character's name.
If you're having difficulty seeing the dialogue in her bio it says " At 18 years of age , young Qi'Ra is already enmeshed in a life of crime , working for a gang on Corellia . " Looking at the character she looks as if she should be on the side of good, being heroic . She does not look sinister at all however as that old saying goes " looks can be deceiving " .

Unless you count the vest part of her jacket and the skirt piece, Qi'Ra comes with one accessory which is her pistol .
As you can see Qi'Ra stands a little over five inches tall, but is well under six inches tall despite being a six inch scaled figure .
Hasbro is doing a great job with these new realistic face sculpts. If you've noticed lately the faces on the recently released figures are looking more realistic than the older ones. Notice how detailed the skin texture is on Qi'Ra and the realistic details with her eyes. Great job . Qi'Ra also has an interesting hair style as you can see, with her hair covering her ear on the right and not covering her ear on the left. It is a unique and interesting hair style to say the least. So guys if your wife or girlfriend is one that likes to change up their hair every now and then. they may want to take a look at this character.
One thing that stands out about Qi'Ra is that she does not look like she belongs in the world of Star Wars . At least in my opinion, she looks as if she should be a civilian character and not fighting in any battles because of her everyday attire . Speaking of the action figure itself, it is nicely well done . The vest part of her jacket is removable along with the skirt piece. Underneath the skirt piece it just looks like a regular pair of black pants. She is nicely dressed with what looks to be watches on her wrists to go along with the jacket and boots. Plus everything matches color wise . Look closely and you'll notice that there are bullets attached to her belt piece on her skirt. Too bad she does not have a holster just in case you may want to display her without her weapon . Speaking of Qi'Ra's weapon lets have a closer look at it below.
Above a bird's eye view of Qi'Ra's weapon . A very interesting looking pistol, designed like a shot gun , with two barrels instead of one . By the way the gun fits better in her right hand than it does in the left one. Because on the left there is no trigger finger . Her trigger finger is on her right hand . Now for a comparison shot of Qi'Ra to a couple of other female figures in the line .
Here's Qi'Ra next to General Leia and Resistance Tech Rose. Speaking of the General Leia figure I reviewed it earlier this year and in case you missed that review here's the link to it - http://actionfigureimagerytoyreviews.blogspot.com/2018/01/star-wars-black-series-general-leia.html  . I was surprised at how much taller Qi'Ra is than those two . Displaying Qi'Ra alone I thought for sure she would be about the same height as them, but when putting them together I was like " whoa" what a difference in height . Also notice how Leia and Rose have dots for their eyes, whereas Qi'Ra has realistic looking eyes with pupils and an iris . Don't get me wrong the older figures still look good however these newer ones look even better with the more detailed face scans .
                                                 FINAL     THOUGHTS
(1)  ARTICULATION  LIMITS - Only upward head movement seems to be limited  . The rest of the articulation is all around .

(2) STANDING  ABILITY -  Trying to get Qi'Ra to stand properly without falling takes some work because of the heels, but once you get that proper stance she stands fine .

(3) WHAT  I  LIKE  BEST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - The realism of the face. The realistic eyes and skin texture. I like her pistol design and love the fact that she can also be displayed as a everyday civilian character .

(4) WHAT   I  LIKE  LEAST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ?- No dislikes .

(5) WHAT  COULD  HAVE  BEEN  DONE  TO  IMPROVE  THE  FIGURE ? - Upward head movement however I'm not bothered by it .

(6) GRADING  SCALE  - Even though the figure is not flawless because of the heels making her challenging to stand, I still give Qi'Ra a Perfect 10 because this one flaw can be fixed .

(7) FINAL  ANALYSIS  - In my opinion Qi'Ra has the best face scan of all of the female Star Wars Black figures to this date . She is definitely worth adding to your collection .
