WWE Mattel Kalisto Review !!!

I purchased this figure of Kalisto at a local Walgreens for around the $ 19.99 price range. Kalisto is one of those smaller wrestlers, around the size range of Rey Mysterio .

As you can see Kalisto comes with the same series that bought us the Nasty Boys , which I reviewed earlier not too long ago. The link for The Nasty Boys is here in case you missed the review http://actionfigureimagerytoyreviews.blogspot.com/2016/09/wwe-mattel-elite-flashback-collection.html . Now for a look at Kalisto out of the packaging.

Kalisto is listed at 5"6 inches tall in real life, therefore it seems to be wise to have his action figure stand a tad below 6 inches while in the 6 inch height scale. Therefore I think his action figure may be just a little bit too tall. However the height is my only gripe about this figure, other than that he is a pretty cool action figure. Very well decorated with his attire, tattoos and removable lower mask. As you can see Kalisto also comes with one accessory, a flight stand . Now for a more detailed look at this figure.

Mattel is doing such a great job with all of these figures, such as the precise detail with tattoos . This one on the back of his neck seems to be a cross with wings .

As you can see Kalisto's lower mask is removable and we can now see his lower lips. Another good luxury with the mask is being able to use it on another figure if you choose to . Those tattoos that you see on his left arm are also on his right arm , in the same spots.

Very cool looking designs on Kalisto's outfit. I love the mixture of the blacks, pinks and silver. It kind of reminds me a little of some of Bret "The Hitman" Hart's wrestling attire .
A better look at the accessory, the flight stand . Below is a look at Kalisto in comparison next to a normal sized WWE Mattel figure , Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart .
If you love the smaller sized male wrestling figures, the above pic is definite proof that Kalisto fits that category . Usually wrestlers are normally bigger and taller than managers, not vice versa .
                                                                  FINAL   THOUGHTS

( 1 ) ARTICULATION - As with all WWE Elite figures, the only part that seems somewhat limited articulation wise is the head when it comes to up and down movement .

(2) STANDING  ABILITY - The figure stands well without any balance issues.

(3) WHAT  I  LIKE  BEST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - The removable lower mask and the option to display it on other figures. His tattoos are very creative and cool looking . The mixture of colors on his attire / outfit are nice blends of black, pink , and silver .

(4) WHAT  I  LIKE  LEAST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - My only gripe about Kalisto is that he may be just a little too tall, other than that there is nothing wrong with the figure. However the flight stand base is too light, it needs to be weighted down to support the figure without falling over .

(5) WHAT  COULD  HAVE  BEEN  DONE  TO  IMPROVE  THE  FIGURE ? - Make him a little shorter to match the height of the real life person . As for the flight stand as already mentioned, it needs to be weighted down so there can be support .

(6) GRADING  SCALE - A Perfect 10 for the Kalisto figure. I can overlook the height issue, still a great action figure .

(7) FINAL  ANALYSIS - The average male pro wrestler is usually above 6 feet tall and over 200 lbs, however Kalisto does not fit that category. However I hope to see more smaller scale male wrestling figures similar to himself for future waves .
