Many hard core wrestling fans remember her mostly as Madusa Miceli, however during her time with the WWE she was known as Alundra Blaze . This is the first figure of Alundra Blaze in the WWE Mattel franchise and I purchased this figure at a local Walmart for a discounted price of around $ 17.99 .
As you can see you will need to purchase three more figures to complete Shawn Michael's Heartbreak Hotel Interview Set . As for the dialogue on the back of the packaging, if you're having difficulty seeing it under " BEST OF HER ERA " it says - Alundra Blayze was a three-time Women's Champion, including a reign that lasted 342 days . Under LEGENDARY MANAGER it says - Blaze managed some of the greatest SuperStars of all time , including "Ravishing" Rick Rude and "Macho" Man Randy Savage .
So basically her bios are saying that she was both a wrestler and manager , I knew about the wrestler part but I don't remember her as a manager . Now for a look at Blayze out of the packaging .
As you can see Alundra comes with a championship belt and two pieces of the heart shaped couch for the playset setup of this series .
Alundra is nicely detailed . She even has age lines/wrinkles in her hands . She looks very cool and is a fun figure to have .
As you can see she stands at about six inches tall .
This picture does not do the figure justice, but Alundra actually has a couple of wrinkles/age lines on her face as she was one of the older WWE Divas at the time of her reign . The figure looks much better in person than what my camera shows sometimes.
If you fit the championship belt in the second loop as shown above, it is a nice secure fit without any slippage. It's tight and secure and you don't have to worry about the belt coming off when you move her around .
In my opinion, Alundra is already a cool figure without the belt but is even cooler with it .
To put together the heart shaped accessory , notice the holes/insertions at the top .
Next take the heart shaped couch accessory piece and insert the pegs into the openings . Just press down slowly.
This is the result you get until you purchase the other figures in the series to complete the set .
You may need a magnifying glass or glasses to see the dialogue on her championship belt, It reads " Womens Wrestling Champion .
FINAL THOUGHTS
( 1 ) ARTICULATION LIMITS - Upward head movement is limited due to the hair however she can look somewhat downward with ease .
( 2 ) STANDING ABILITY - Alundra stands very well without balance issues. Plus the flat shoes and being flat footed helps too.
( 3 ) WHAT I LIKE BEST ABOUT THIS FIGURE ? - The accessory pieces that come with it are nice. Alundra is very detailed with age lines and even a few muscle striations . She stands very well and I think she looks cool .
( 4 ) WHAT I LIKE LEAST ABOUT THIS FIGURE ? - No dislikes .
( 5 ) WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO IMPROVE THE FIGURE ? - No improvements needed .
( 6 ) GRADING SCALE - A Perfect 10 could find no flaws .
( 7 ) FINAL ANALYSIS - It's great to see another WWE Diva from the late 90s til early 2000s in the line as Alundra now joins Trish Stratus and Lita as part of the female wrestlers from that time frame in this line . Still eagerly awaiting on a figure of Sable, Chyna ,etc. among others .
