MARVEL LEGENDS - Proxima Midnight Review !!!

Based on her looks in the hit movie " Avengers Infinity War" here is Proxima Midnight, a  member of Thanos ' Black Order Army .  This is also the first and only Marvel Legend figure of Proxima. She was not made by Toybiz. I purchased this figure of Proxima Midnight at a local Walmart for around the $ 19.99 price range .

I love the way her face looks on the packaging drawing above . It looks better than the action figure's face in my opinion . It looks more feminine than the action figure's face .
If you're having trouble seeing the bio it says" A lieutenant of the Black Order, Proxima Midnight serves Thanos in his quest for ultimate power . " That sentence alone tells us that Proxima has high ranking in The Black Order, being a lieutenant .

All of the accessories you see above is what you get with Proxima. As you can see she comes with the torso of the Thanos build-a-figure .

The only thing that I'm NOT 100% satisfied with Proxima is her face . I'm not complaining about the sculpt, however . The facial sculpt is nice. The dark blue smudge on her lips just does not look right in my opinion. Plus is it just me or does the face almost looks masculine . Other than this gripe she is a great action figure .
As you can see Proxima is bigger than the average woman . Since she is an alien from another world she is listed at seven feet tall by Marvel , so it makes since that the figure is around seven inches tall to stay true to the character's height scale .
As you can see the movie version of Proxima has both lots of differences and similarities to the comic book version . The only thing that I like better about the comic version is that she is way more feminine looking than the movie version . It would have been great if Proxima came with a "bonus" comic book head to go along with the default movie head . The movie changed her weapon a lot too . The comic version looks more like a spear, where as  her movie weapon almost resembles a trident.
                                                     FINAL   THOUGHTS
(1) ARTICULATION   LIMITS  -  only upward head movement is restricted by her hard plastic hair .
(2) STANDING  ABILITY -  She stands well however I think she would stand better if she did not have heels. Even though the heels are even with the rest of her feet, although I think Proxima would stand better if she was one hundred percent flat footed .

(3) WHAT  I  LIKE  BEST  ABOUT  THE  FIGURE  ? -  The luxury of not only owning a "first time in the line" figure but also obtaining a  high ranking member of one of the most dangerous villain groups in the Marvel Universe . I also like Proxima's size and her bulkiness, making the figure fun to pose and hold in your hands .

(4) WHAT  I  LIKE  LEAST  ABOUT  THE  FIGURE ? - The face not looking feminine enough .

(5) WHAT  COULD  HAVE  BEEN  DONE  TO  IMPROVE  THE  FIGURE ? - As already mentioned , a bonus comic book head would have been a nice add on item .

(6) GRADING  SCALE  -  This figure gets a minus for not looking feminine enough in the face, along with the blemish on her lips. So I think a 9.8 out of 10 is a nice score . I would also add the limited upper head movement as a negative, however I'm not bothered by it .

(7) FINAL  ANALYSIS -  Will the popularity of the Infinity War movie help the sales of the figures ? Remains to be seen .
