FLEA MARKET AND THRIFT STORE FINDS PART ONE .

Ever go to a Flea Market or a thrift store and bump into some action figures you never knew anything about? I have on several different occasions . I love those Goodwill store grab bags . For those of you not familiar with these , you may get several different action figures from a variety of lines into one bag . And you may bump into some gems along the way . One time I discovered a used Marvel Legend Toybiz Spider-Man figure packaged with a bunch of kiddie toys. Even though all of the toys are used , the best part about buying toys from flea markets and thrift stores are the cheaper prices. Much cheaper prices then retail stores . The following are pics of some figures I have purchased from flea markets and thrift stores over the years .
First off are a few group shots then on to individual pics .

Now on to some individual shots of figures. Some characters we all know and others are a mystery . I will make notation of rather I know each character or not .
Davey Jones from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. This 6-inch figure I bought was from a Goodwill store grab bag .
All I know is that it's Bat-Man. But what kind of Bat-Man I don't know. A green suited Bat-Man figure with green armor. He is by Mattel . He came in a grab bag also .
Can you identify this figure ? I have no idea who this cy-borg looking character is . He's a cool 6" figure though with limited articulation .
Who is this? Anyone ? A shade over 6" inches tall , he looks like something out of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles .
This ninja guy is about the same height as the above mentioned cy-borg character . Not sure where he's from either .
Who is this 6" inch alien figure ? He fits in real well standing next to some Marvel Legends figures .

Here are two different shots of the same figure on what I believe is a transforming Power Ranger figure . The figure is in the 6 " scale with nice articulation .
This figure is slightly over 7 inches tall . Who is she? Anyone ? She looks like she's from some of those old Star Wars cartoons from the 80s , like Ewoks or Droids but I'm not sure .
Purchased this weird looking guy out of a Goodwill grab bag . Right around 4 inches tall .
From a distance I thought this was Cat-Woman . Until I saw the bat logo then I knew it's a variant of Bat-Girl . Around 4 inches tall , she had no cape as I purchased her along with others in a grab bag .
This cool looking Ultra-Man look a like is around 5 inches tall .
I'm sure all of you including myself know who this is . A 4 inch King Zarkon figure of Voltron fame .
She looks like an old Fisher Price figure but I'm not sure. A little over 3 inches tall, right at 4 .
There you have it folks. A look at what I found and what you too may find at your local flea markets or thrift stores . Lots of figures I already know who the characters are, as well as lots of unknown figures or characters that I knew nothing about . This too is another pleasure and luxury of flea markets and thrift stores. The idea of not knowing what you may bump into is exciting and fun . I hope you all enjoyed this article as I will be posting more of these in the future .

  1. The last action figure you have pictured is Hanna Dundee from Cadillacs and Dinosaurs if am correct. The pig/TMNT type of figure is from a toyline called B.O.A.R.S i think but am not for sure other than i remember seeing one at a comicbook shop a while ago i will have to do some looking on that one.

  2. Wow thanks John you are exactly right about Hanna Dundee. I Googled her after I read your comment and that's exactly the franchise she is from . I had no such luck with the pig like character however. I remember the Cadillacs and Dinosaurs franchise when it came out but never watched the cartoon, purchased the toys or read the comics . Thus explaining why I not knew who Hanna was, lol .

    1. THANKS again JOHN and THANK YOU too Bro Midnight. It seems like you guys know toys better than I do, lol . Your contributions also help fellow readers of this blog identify the unidentified figures. Also Bro Midnight, Cheetara is on her way to you . ( NOTE ) I deleted my previous comment because I misspelled a word. They were the same words I'm mentioning here. Too bad Blogger does not allow the edit of a comment without deleting it first.

  8. Hey man,

that green Batman is Electro Net Batman from series 3 of Mattel's Batman line from the early-mid 2000s. And that Batgirl is the Alicia Silverstone Batgirl from the Batman and Robin movie line.

  9. THANKS Barbecue17 for verifying those characters . I should have known that the Green Bat-Man was a Mattel variant , because I've never seen him wear this outfit in the comics.

  10. No problem. And the red cyborg looking guy? That's El Furioso from the Bibleman line by Tommy Nelson, the children's division of Thomas Nelson Publishing.
