Star Wars The Black Series - Director Krennic Review !!!

Here is a review of one of the main characters that was instrumental in getting the Death Star completed. Director Krennic . I purchased this figure of Krennic at a local Walmart for around the $ 19.99 price range .

Now for a look at the figure out of the packaging .

As you can see Director Krennic comes with two accessories. His cloak/cape and pistol. Unless you want to count the holster on his side as an accessory. This guy in my opinion looks as if he belongs more to the Battlestar Galactica franchise instead of Star Wars . The belt is sculpted on and is not removable. Probably the best feature option with Krennic is the luxury of displaying him with or without his cloak/cape . Below is a look at the cloak from behind.
It may not seem like it but the cloak is really detailed. Look closely and you can clearly see lines and wrinkles, just like the real thing . Now for more looks at Krennic .
Director Krennic has some very shiny boots. So shiny in fact that when placed underneath pretty good lighting they look as if they have been doused in black shoe polish . I think this is a very neat effect. Now for some posing with Krennic with his pistol with and without the cloak.

Both of Krennic's hands are displayed in the same poses, with his trigger finger ready to hold his pistol . You can easily put the pistol in either hand. As you can see in the pic above, Krennic's holster is different from that of a lot of other characters that come with gun holsters. Krennic's holster does not fully conceal his weapon, whereas the average holster conceals a weapon all the way up to the handle .
                                                      FINAL   THOUGHTS
(1) ARTICULATION - The only gripe I have about the articulation is that it is hard to tell if Krennic has an ab crunch or not, because of hard shirt. I'm sure it exists underneath but tearing apart your figure is not worth it to find out. Still a cool figure despite this.

(2) STANDING  ABILITY - The figure stands pretty well with no balance issues.

(3) WHAT  I  LIKE  BEST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - The figure is neat and I love the cloak. It might look great on other figures too. The luxury of displaying Krennic with or without the cloak is a plus along with both hands being ready to carry the pistol. The buttons on his shirt are nicely done.

(4) WHAT  I  LIKE  LEAST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - There is nothing I dislike.

(5) WHAT  COULD  HAVE  BEEN  DONE  TO  IMPROVE  THE  FIGURE ? - No improvements needed .

(6) GRADING  SCALE - Although I'm not a fan of the character but love the action figure, plus I could find no flaws so a Perfect 10 is reasonable .

(7) FINAL  ANALYSIS - The Star Wars Black series is on a roll . Lots of great figures have recently came out . When this line first debuted many of us were not sure if it would last as long as it has however I'm glad it's still continuing .
