Ghostbusters 2016 MAYHEM Figure Review !!!

Mayhem looks more like a monster or beast instead of a ghost. However he is one of the villain ghosts against the female Ghostbusters. I purchased this figure at a local Target for a discounted clearance price of  $ 6.98 . Target is more known for putting things on clearance than Walmart , so check your local Target stores to see if you can get that lucky clearance price too . Also this is a perfect figure to review for the month of October, because of Halloween . Plus Mayhem has a Halloween feel to him look wise .

As you can see on the front packaging, Mayhem's glowing feature is referenced to by the arrow pointing to the activation point, on his belly . Now for a look at the figure out of the packaging .

Despite having limited articulation , Mayhem is a fun figure to own . His wings move back and forth . The larger than normal hands and clawed feet makes him look like a menacing threat to humans. Plus toys that have a glowing feature are overall fun in general. I think that both adult collectors and kids alike will love having this figure in their collection . As you can see the figure comes with no accessories.

Above is a look at the green glowing feature. The first pic is taken underneath a turned on lamp. The second one is taken with the lamp turned off . Notice the details in his wings. The line striations . Also I like how his tongue is hanging from his mouth , as if he is ready to exhale fire like a dragon , which he looks more like than a ghost .

If you look closely on his back you can see the compartment where there is a screw. Just in case the glowing feature may stop working because of low or no battery power, you can replace the old battery with a new one . Below are the instructions for this purpose.

The instructions note that the compartment can be removed and placed back on using a Phillips head screwdriver . Even though Mayhem was created for the female Ghostbusters, he'd make a great villain for the male Ghostbusters as well .
                                                                    FINAL   THOUGHTS

( 1 ) PLAY ABILITY  FACTOR  FOR  KIDS - Kids will love playing with the glowing feature I'm sure. Also the wings move back and forth, giving off the impression of flying .

( 2 ) ARTICULATION - Limited but not very limited. The arms move up , down and outward . Legs move up and down no outward movement . Head turns side to side but no up and down movement. His wrists and elbows rotate. The tail is bendy but does not rotate. Plus it's already been mentioned about the wings moving .

( 3 ) STANDING  ABILITY  - Mayhem's big feet does not touch the surface he stands on flatly . So you'll have to lean him back a little for balance. The tail can be used to balance the figure's stance.

( 4 ) WHAT  I  LIKE  BEST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? -It's always nice having translucent figures that can glow in the dark. The glowing feature I think is the coolest feature. After that I think the wings are nice looking and them being able to move is a plus.

( 5 ) WHAT  I  LIKE  LEAST  ABOUT  THIS  FIGURE ? - There's nothing that I dislike about this figure .

( 6 ) WHAT  COULD  HAVE  BEEN  DONE  TO  IMPROVE  THE  FIGURE ? - No improvements needed .

( 7 ) GRADING  SCALE - A Perfect 10 !!! No flaws !!!

( 8 ) FINAL  ANALYSIS  - You do not have to be a fan of the Mayhem character or the female Ghostbusters to like this figure .  The things that made me want to purchase this figure are the glowing feature and the cheap discounted price. However there is more to like than those factors, as previously mentioned in this review .
